Find Your Place of Service

It is an ancient part of church life for church members to serve and care for one another.

Scripture tells us that “to each one a manifestation of the Spirit is given for the common good.”

In other words, all of us have unique gifts and skills that we can use to make the “body of Christ” (our church) stronger and more effective.

Here are some of the ways you can serve one another at Rolling Hills Baptist Church:

  • Greet people who come to our services and events
  • Visit those unable to leave their homes or care facilities
  • Pray for those in need
  • Teach Sunday school for adults
  • Help with Children’s special events
  • Oversee our Family Gardens
  • Play handbells in a worship service
  • Help maintain our building and property
  • Serve with a group of people who oversee our church finances
  • Help with our website & Social Media
  • Direct the broadcast of our Sunday morning worship services
  • Lead a prayer group, book club or support group
  • Start a Yoga class
  • Lead others in worship by singing or playing your instrument in a worship service
  • Teach Sunday school for children
