Marshallese Partnership
In the fall of 2020 our church began to pray to be a “Revelation 21” congregation. Revelation 21 describes all the kingdoms and nations of the world coming before Christ in the new heaven and the new earth. We realized we needed to begin demonstrating a cross-cultural faith now, not just in heaven.
After several months of prayer, our pastor met with a local leader of Northwest Arkansas’ Marshallese community. This discussion focused on finding a Marshallese congregation who needed a place to meet for worship and other activities. Several months later Rolling Hills found out about the First Marshallese Pentecostal Church of Fayetteville who were meeting in a home.
After several meetings and conversations, Rolling Hills voted in August 2021 to invite the First Marshallese Pentecostal Church of Fayetteville to use our Fellowship Hall on Sunday afternoons for their weekly worship services.
It is our hope that this arrangement blossoms into a rich and edifying relationship between our congregations.
