Our Pastor

Pastor Steve Sheely

Our Pastor

Our pastor, Steve Sheely was born in a small town in Oklahoma. He received degrees from Oklahoma State University, Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and Yale University Divinity School.

“It is my passion to see people following Christ in discipleship opportunities wherever they are on their Christian journey — from seekers and new Christians all the way to ministries which require mature Christian leaders.”

Steve married his wife Marla in 1994. In 2002 Steve and Marla had twin sons, Jordan and John, and in 2003 they had a third son, Joseph. Steve’s hobbies include restoring vintage Italian Vespa and Lambretta motorscooters, collecting Hot Wheel and Matchbox cars from the 1960s, and NCAA baseball.

You can find articles written by Pastor Sheely featured in the “Faith Matters” column which appears in the Saturday Edition on the Northwest Arkansas Times.

You can also follow Pastor Sheely on his blog, Steve the Pastor.

Our Choir Director and Minister of Music

David Savage - Minister of Music

David Savage – Minister of Music

Music is an important part of worship at Rolling Hills. Our choir is led by David Savage, our very capable Minister of  Music. Not only does David sing, he’s very accomplished on the piano and organ as well.

Taking the reins of the music program is not an easy task in any church. With folks having a wide variety of music style tastes and favorite songs, it can be hard to know what music to present. David works hard to make sure everyone has a chance to sing or hear their favorites, from the good old hymns of the faith to modern, contemporary tunes.

Thanks, Dave! We appreciate all you do.
